Research and Evaluation Conference on Self-Sufficiency (RECS)

Sponsored by the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) Administration for Children and Families (ACF), the RECS provides a valuable opportunity to gather in Washington, D.C. and hear the latest findings from evaluations of social welfare programs and policies, discuss ways to incorporate findings into the design and implementation of programs, and develop strategies for future evaluations.
The conference focuses on programs, policies and services that support low-income and vulnerable families on the path to economic self-sufficiency and well-being. Past conferences have featured presentations on topics including:
