Resource Center Webinar: Healthy Dating Leads to Healthy Marriage

Join the National Resource Center for Healthy Marriage and Families for a new webinar that discusses how instilling healthy dating habits in teens and young adults can lead to healthy marriage.
Today, young adults are more likely to cohabitate than marry, and those who do marry, marry later. Unmarried, cohabitating couples are more likely to suffer domestic violence and unfavorable economic situations than those who are married. Additionally, teen girls and young women are almost three times more likely to be in an abusive relationship and are at greater risk for human trafficking than many other demographic groups. Learning how to recognize unhealthy relationship behaviors and understand healthy relationship skills while dating can better prepare young adults for healthy marriages. Speakers will share information on how service providers can integrate healthy relationship education into their existing services for both preventative and restorative purposes. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about free research-based resources and technical assistance available to support you and your agency strengthen families and communities.
