The Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) and the National Alliance of Children's Trust and Prevention Funds invite leaders of state and local Strengthening Families initiatives to join us to network, share learning and stay aware of recent developments in the field.
Most of us are familiar with the impact of childhood adversity, risks and toxic and negative factors impacting healthy child development. Yet this focus can only go so far in prescribing what is needed for a thriving society. Our September 14 webinar introduces the importance of HOPE – Health Outcomes of Positive Experiences, a framework that studies and promotes positive child and family well-being. Dr. Bob Sege, Senior Fellow at CSSP, will connect evidence for HOPE – from population surveys to brain science – to actions we can take today to improve the effectiveness of our work.
Networking webinars are held the second Thursday of every month. Calls are 60 minutes in length and begin at 9 AM (HI) / 11 AM (AK) / 12 Noon (PDT) / 1 PM (MDT) / 2 PM (CDT) / 3 PM (EDT). For our colleagues in Guam, this is 6 AM Friday.
